Chikorita grew up in a world against her, where the first two gyms were out to murder her and 6 out of 8 of the whole damn country is a gym she’s not even remotely effective against. Chikorita had to struggle to get by and if you forgot her inspiring determination to Triumph in a world meant to destroy her it’s because you didn’t have the will to help her succeed.
